So, I decided to ditch a plan, pace, time and distance- and just run through the country-side. There were some incredibly tough hills, puddles the size of lakes and lots of animal ‘matter’ to avoid. There were a few sections I had to walk (if I wanted to stay on my feet), as Britain’s bridleways aren’t very well maintained. But gosh, was it worth it, such an invigorating, fresh aired, muddy run. I can’t wait to get back out there to be honest!
I’m really looking forward to it to be honest. I know I’ll get frustrated that I can run further, but I’m trying my best not to get injured this time.
My cousin’s getting to run at the Olympic stadium for his university. Lucky bastard.
Weather shouldn’t be a factor that gets in your way!
